How embedded are your Core Values?

Author: Andrew Protheroe

If my days of delivering courses to diverse groups such as soldiers/officers, airbase force protection, and close protection officers taught me anything, it is that the extra upfront effort invested into the design of bespoke courses best ensures expectations are met or hopefully exceeded.

When E.G. Lewis & Company Ltd, a leading multi-disciplined contractor in South Wales (UK), approached PCR Global to help develop and deliver a risk-based course suitable for their entire workforce, ‘off the shelf’ was not an option!

So, after months of collaboration, the result is the ‘E.G.Lewis Six Core Values & Organisational Resilience Program’.

The themed content is aimed at developing both organisational and personal resilience through subjects such as leadership, crises, situational awareness, self-reflection, just culture, safety, security, quality, and environmental awareness.

Judging by the responses of the delegates during and after the session, we achieved our aim. Targeted feedback and innovative ideas from upstream decision-makers and coal-face operatives proved again that corporate solutions often lay within your teams - use it or lose it!
