As No.3 of our Walk n Talk Videos on risk management subjects, I briefly outline VISUAL ATTENTION which I deem as critical understanding.

There are many areas that distinguish security, safety, environmental, quality & HR professionals from each other - for me perception is a main area & an understanding of VISUAL ATTENTION helps appreciate wider concepts such as competence.
Miss hazards on the ground - & we can't protect people, the environment or business.
Perception is our first chance to make a difference & VISUAL ATTENTION informs our perception. As professionals we must constantly learn - relying on past experience is not enough: experience, feedback, reflection & continual learning should be what we strive for - daily.
I hope the video helps, if not at least I got to see Pen y Fan (mental health boost).
