Course Exercises

Throughout this course there are multiple mandatory activities that must be completed. Depending on the course you are enrolled on there are different mandatory exercises… Feel free to attempt all if you wish!

Note: Exercise 4 is also mandatory for the TWC (2 day) course. This will be completed within the classroom sessions

End of Course Assessment

About the Assessment

Your end of course assessment consists of one exam paper, consisting of 25 multiple choice questions.

  • The examination is open book. You are able to refer to training materials and your notes for the entire examination period.

  • Questions 1 to 18 are multiple choice questions. (TWC/TWC-R) | Questions 1 to 19 are multiple choice questions. (TWS)

    • These require one answer by selecting the relevant check-box next to the answer you deem to be correct.

  • Questions 19 to 22 are free text questions. (TWC/TWC-R) | Questions 20 to 22 are free text questions. (TWS)

    • Please answer free text questions in your own words. Answers should consist of a few sentences or a paragraph of text and be completed in the space provided. You will not be marked on spelling or grammar; however, written answers must be readable in order to be marked.

  • You have 45 minutes to attempt to answer all questions.

  • You need to achieve 21 marks out of 27 (78%) to pass the examination. If you get 17 or more marks out of 27 (63%), but less than 21, you will be offered a re-sit.


Format: Completing the Assessment

CITB Virtual Classroom Examinations are completed using Microsoft Forms.

  • At the end of the final Zoom session the tutor will provide you with a clickable link to access the exam paper.

  • Click the link to access the paper.

  • Do not commence the examination until instructed to do so.

  • Once complete, ensure your details are correct at the bottom of the form and click submit.

You are permitted to refer to training materials and your notes throughout.
