Below you will find information and documents relevant to each module of your SMSTS / SMSTS Refresher courses.
We recommend you familiarise yourself with the Key Learning Objectives of each module prior to commencing the course to assist with note taking.
CITB Publications
As part of this course you will receive a licence to access the CITB GE700/E publication (Construction Site Management - Environmental) electronic text book.
Accessing your GE700/E:
You will receive an email, forwarded from CITB including the link and instructions to download and access your CITB publication.
This can be used to gain access to it as an eBook, either from your Windows laptop, Mac, Android or iOS device.
Please ensure you follow the instruction provided by CITB within the email to effectively set it up.

Important: The eBook can be downloaded and accessed on up to three devices, allowing you to access the GE700 from your laptop, tablet and smart phone (for example).
The reader software for the subscription can be installed on these devices during the subscription period.
Compatible operating systems include iOS, Android, Windows and Mac OS. Once installed and the books downloaded, the content can also be viewed offline.
Each download includes a 12 month subscription to the CITB digital content and includes any updates during this time. Once the subscription expires, the content can be retained on the installed device(s) until such time that it is deleted, but no further updates will be received beyond this period.

Module 4 | Ecology and biodiversity
